Optional Coach refinement
The app first creates a useful practice drill on device. Cloud refinement is off until you explicitly enable it. When enabled, the app may send bounded Coach practice aggregates such as average pitch error, recent scores, an approved foundation lesson identifier and session count. An approved language-processing service may process that fixed-purpose request on our behalf. It does not receive microphone audio, pitch traces, lyrics or recordings.
Purchase verification
Apple remains the source of truth for subscription access. If optional cloud refinement is enabled, Apple's signed StoreKit transaction may be checked to assign cloud-Coach quota. We do not receive your payment-card details.
Abuse prevention and retention
A random installation credential and short-lived, non-reversible abuse-control keys may be used to enforce daily limits. Raw network addresses are not stored for analytics or advertising. Expired counters and inactive service records are removed on a limited retention schedule.
Optional community and referrals
If you opt in to the “riyaz today” counter, the service stores a short-lived purpose-scoped token and the local calendar date, not your score, audio, name or device identifier. Referral and friend codes are pseudonymous. Referral rewards are cosmetic only and never unlock paid lessons. Friends remain off by default.
User-initiated sharing
Share cards and any optional audio clip are assembled and previewed on device. Nothing is uploaded by Soloist Harmonium. A clip leaves the device only when you deliberately use Apple’s system share sheet and choose a destination.
What we do not do
- No ads or advertising identifier.
- No sale of personal data.
- No third-party analytics SDK.
- No cloud sync of audio or practice history.
Delete data
Use Settings → Delete Account & Data to remove on-device practice data and request deletion of the optional service identity. You can also contact nora@playsoloist.com.
